Heart-warming: fighting for your life to see your great-great-granddaughter
92-year-old Jean Roper was determined to hold her great-great-grand-daughter in her arms, even though she had been told she does not have much longer to live. The beautiful moment was captured by her grand-daughter, Kayla Tracy
Jean suffered from kidney failure and had been told that she only had a few weeks to live.
Jean has been married to Edward for 75 years and together they had three children, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 11 back, great-grandsons. Because her great-great-grandchildren are all boys, Jean was determined to fight against her illness to take her very first, great-great-grand-daughter in her arms. And she succeeded!
The girl is named after her and has been given the name Magnolia Jean.
Since the birth, Jean's health has improved.
