Breastfeeding mothers are very happy with this Australian café
I can still remember how uncomfortable I felt in some cafes and restaurants when I was breastfeeding, and when my son screamed to announce that he needed food.
Then I had to unclip my bra, pull up my shirt and put my baby on the breast in one movement, and block the sight as quickly as possible. However, I felt as if a spotlight was shining on me and as if the entire cafe were craning their necks to look. It wasn't like that, but that's how I always felt.
The Willows cafe in Sydney has come up with a particularly great solution: they offer every breastfeeding mother a place to relax, feed her child and enjoy a free cup of tea in the meantime. And the best part is that you are not even obliged to eat anything.
A particularly welcome announcement for every breastfeeding mother. And hopefully her bottle-feeding friend will also be offered a cup of tea. Hopefully this idea spreads!
