I have a really heavy feeling in my lower abdomen, also my aerolas are large but only very slight tenderness. I have been on all sorts of websites and according to online calculators it is possible I could be 3wks 5days. It has been 12 dpo and I had spot bleeding this morning, I am due for AF sunday/monday. I took an early detection pregnancy test this morning but it was negative... any thoughts....

I 100% agree with you but some people like to have that belief and if it makes them happy and they dont get nasty or try and force it down other peoples throats, then its just a matter of all getting through this together

Pregnancy week tot week

A monthly overview of the development of your baby.

1 week pregnant

1 week pregnant

Week 0 begins the new cycle and menstruation has begun. At this point you still wont know whether or not pregnancy will occur...

2 weeks pregnant

2 weeks pregnant

This week begins your `real` pregnancy. The release of your egg is counted as day 14 and fertilization occurs either on that day or over the next 48 hours......

3 weeks pregnant

3 weeks pregnant

This is an exciting week if you are pregnant. At this time, towards the end of the week you should be able to see a positive result on a pregnancy test......

4 weeks pregnant

4 weeks pregnant

At the beginning of this week you would normally start your period. If this does not occur it may be possible that you are pregnant...

5 weeks pregnant

5 weeks pregnant

This is another important week in the development of your baby as the construction of the heart and the central nervous system will now begin......

6 weeks pregnant

6 weeks pregnant

Did you know that your baby makes his own blood and can therefore have a different blood type from you?......

7 weeks pregnant

7 weeks pregnant

You are now only 7 weeks pregnant but your baby is growing at an astonishing rate of about 1mm per day...

8 weeks pregnant

By the end of this week your baby will be almost 2 inches long and the back of the brain is clearly visible through the tissue of the head...

9 weeks pregnant

9 weeks pregnant

This is another busy week in the early life of your baby as the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips will now be created...

10 weeks pregnant

The tail of the fetus disappears completely this week and your baby begins to resemble a tiny person...

11 weeks pregnant

11 weeks pregnant

Your baby has already completed its most important stage of development. By this point the basic foundations of all his vital components are now in place...

12 weeks pregnant

12 weeks pregnant

The baby will now begin to move his hands, making small fists and often they try to grasp the umbilical chord...

13 weeks pregnant

13 weeks pregnant

The baby now has good space to move around as the amount of amniotic fluid in the womb is increasing...

14 weeks pregnant

14 weeks pregnant

Your baby is now becoming a lot more active and he can move his arms and legs as his tiny brain is now able to control the muscles...

15 weeks pregnant

15 weeks pregnant

Your baby's head is now the size of a marble and his hands like little peas. His muscles are becoming stronger as he treads water in his amniotic fluid...

16 weeks pregnant

From this period on your baby will be able to distinguish between dark and light and although his eyes are still closed, like you he can tell the difference from night and day...

17 weeks pregnant

17 weeks pregnant

Any anxiety you are feeling should begin to ease off now as you become more accustomed to the changes taking place in your body...

18 weeks pregnant

22 weeks pregnant

22 weeks pregnant

If you sing the same song a lot to your baby now, he'll probably recognise it after birth and it could actually comfort him...

23 weeks pregnant

23 weeks pregnant

You may notice a little yellowish fluid leaking from your breasts. This is colostrum, the first 'milk' your baby will drink after birth....

24 weeks pregnant

24 weeks pregnant

The end of the second trimester is in sight now. You are nearly two thirds of the way through your pregnancy and have probably started counting the weeks away...

25 weeks pregnant

29 weeks pregnant

30 weeks pregnant

30 weeks pregnant

Your baby is almost fully developed. Except that if he was born now, he would not be able to keep himself warm...

31 weeks pregnant

31 weeks pregnant

You will find breathing easier again once your baby has engaged, because he will be lower down in your pelvis...

36 weeks pregnant

36 weeks pregnant

The baby is nearly ready to come into this world and will probably have engaged in your pelvic cavity by now..

37 weeks pregnant

37 weeks pregnant

You could (and may) give birth any day now, but you may just as easily have to wait another 5 weeks (at most) for your baby to be born!...
