Your child is curious about what is taking place around him as he begins to understand that people have roles and responsibilities in the community. Give your child simple tasks that he can perform around the home and praise him when he completes his responsibilities. Children at this age can help unload the dishwasher, make their bed, sweep the floor, put their laundry away, weed the garden and help take care of pets. ...
