Age 35 to 40

Getting Pregnant > Fertility > Age 35 to 40

Although pregnancy in this age group is becoming more and more common, it doesn't necessarily make it easier. Fertility normally reaches a peak in the mid to late twenties so by this age your chances of conceiving are not as good as they once were and you may find it takes longer.

There is no reason you cannot have a baby at this age however and providing a woman is in good health and has no underlying health or fertility problems it is still possible to conceive.

If you are at all concerned you should speak with your caregiver as worry and stress wont help your chances and he may give you some helpful tips such as rest and tracking your ovulation which can help your chances of conceiving.
