Vulvodynia - Chronic pain, discomfort or burning sensations of the vulva without evidence of disease, lesions or other abnormalities. Possible causes for the irritation include allergen exposure such as soaps, detergents and dyes, an autoimmune disorder, injury or infection. Vulvodynia generally causes sexual dysfunction because of the extreme pain in the vulvar region.
Vulvovaginal Candidasis - Candidasis of the vulva and vagina that causes itching and a scant discharge with white curd like clumps. The condition may be seem in pregnant women, usually during the third trimester or women that are infected with HIV.
